The CEV, the Embassy and the General Consulate cannot provide you with information on the status of your application being processed by the Immigration Office. Therefore, do not contact us.
The progress of your application must be followed on the Immigration Office website, via this link. To do so, it is essential to know your application number.
- At the CEV in Lubumbashi and at the Embassy in Kinshasa (for diplomatic passports), the number on your receipt will be your application number.
- At the CEV in Kinshasa, when submitting your application, a temporary number (MSHKIN followed by 9 digits) will be given to you at the counter.
In order to know the final number, a period of +- 1 working day after submission to the CEV will be sufficient to regain access to your online application form.
The final number can be found under the heading “Basic information” in the field “visa application number” which is made up of the following: BELXXXX (= post code) + 0...0 (leading zeros) + 6 digits constituting the official visa application number.
For example, for the number “BEL009700000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000380927” it will be the application “380927”.
